Jakarta, FORTUNE – PT Intra Golflink Resorts Tbk (GOLF) recorded a 28.8 percent year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit to IDR 11.3 billion in the first half of 2025. This profit growth was supported by the company’s significantly rising revenue.
The positive performance aligns with the company's revenue growth of 10.4 percent YoY, reaching IDR 70.08 billion, compared to IDR 63.49 billion in the same period last year. Along with that, GOLF's net profit margin also improved to 16.1 percent.
The company highlighted that New Kuta Golf (NKG) in Bali was the main contributor to revenue growth. This was driven by a surge in the number of golf rounds since May 2025, reflecting NKG’s success in capturing the golf tourism market in Bali.
Consistently, NKG recorded over 7,000 rounds per month. In Q2 2025 alone, the number of golf rounds at NKG surged nearly 20 percent YoY and approximately 35 percent quarter-on-quarter (QoQ). June 2025 even marked the highest monthly record in NKG's history, with 7,249 rounds.
This achievement directly contributed to a 25.5 percent YoY increase in NKG’s golf segment revenue in the first half of this year.
“Our performance in the first half of 2025, especially the surge in golf tourism at New Kuta and development progress in Sentul and Bali, shows that our long-term vision is beginning to find its place in the market,” said GOLF President Commissioner Darma Mangkuluhur Hutomo in an official statement on Friday (August 1).
Meanwhile, the company reported that operating expenses rose to IDR 24.5 billion. This increase was due to continued investments in marketing activities and facility upgrades aimed at enhancing customer experience.
On the other hand, contributions from Palm Hill Golf Sentul remained limited as the property is undergoing transformation into the Sequoia Hills development area.
Looking ahead, GOLF is preparing to recognize significant revenue from the property segment in the second half of 2025, including the handover of the first cluster of The Links Golf Villa Bali worth IDR 178.2 billion.
The company is also marketing the second cluster, targeting over IDR 220 billion in sales throughout 2025. In addition, The Links Golf Villa Belitung project is scheduled for launch in Q4 2025, followed by the construction of a 6-star luxury boutique hotel in Bali.
“We will continue to focus on disciplined execution and sustainable long-term value growth for all stakeholders,” concluded GOLF President Director Dwi Febri Astuti.
